This Privacy Policy explains how Speed Education by Mandeep Sir ("Speed Coaching", "Speed Education", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects information when you use the Speed Coaching mobile application and the website thespeedtest.in (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: your name, email address, mobile number, and password (stored in encrypted/hashed form) when you register or sign in.
• Profile information: optional details you choose to add to your profile, such as a profile photo.
• Test & performance data: the tests you attempt, your answers, scores, time spent, rank, percentile and other analytics generated from your activity on the Service.
• Payment information: when you purchase a test series, payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not store your full card, UPI or banking details on our servers — see Section 4.
• Device & usage information: device type, operating system, app version, and general usage/diagnostic information, used to keep the app working correctly and securely.
• Support communications: information you provide when you contact us for help, such as support tickets or messages.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate you when you sign in;
• Provide the core Service — delivering tests, recording your answers, and generating your results, rank and analytics;
• Process payments for premium test series and maintain purchase/entitlement records;
• Send you service-related notifications, such as test results, reminders, and announcements;
• Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about your account;
• Maintain the security, integrity and fair use of the Service, including preventing cheating during tests;
• Improve and develop new features of the Service.

4. Payments

All payments for test series purchased on Speed Coaching are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateway. When you make a payment, your card, UPI or banking details are collected and processed directly by Razorpay in accordance with Razorpay's own privacy policy and security standards — we do not receive or store your full payment credentials. We only receive confirmation of a successful or failed transaction, which we use to unlock the relevant test series on your account.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Service, such as our payment processor (Razorpay) and cloud hosting/database providers, solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service;
• Leaderboards and rankings — your display name and score/rank may be visible to other students within a test's leaderboard, as part of the core functionality of the app;
• Law enforcement or regulators where required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Speed Coaching, our users, or others.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted password storage, authenticated API access, and restricted screen-capture during live tests — to protect your information and the integrity of test content. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and test-performance data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with our legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us — see Section 11.

8. Your Rights & Choices

You may, at any time:

• Access and update your profile information from within the app (Profile → Edit Profile);
• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• Request correction or deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal or legitimate business retention requirements;
• Withdraw consent for non-essential communications, such as promotional notifications.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 11.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for students preparing for competitive exams and is generally used by teenagers and adults. If you are under the age of 18, please use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
